Meet Sugey ("Sue-Hay")
After working in the real estate field for 7 years, Sugey (“Sue-Hay”) quit her corporate job at the age of 28 to pursue a deeper passion in the field of psychology. She always knew that working in the profession of helping others build skills to cope with the challenges of life, via thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, in order to enhance the mind was where she belonged. After quitting her corporate career, she decided to pursue graduate school again, but this time in the field of psychology.
Sugey (“Sue-Hay”) graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology in May 2024 and currently finishing her APA-accredited internship in Los Angeles. In the fall of 2024, Sugey will begin her post-doctoral position as a bilingual fellow at UCLA working with families and their children. Sugey will pursue licensure in the Spring of 2025 in the hope of being a licensed clinical and sport psychologist by the fall of 2025.
Sugey has a Master of Arts (MA) in sport psychology and is currently working towards completing her training hours to become certified as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) – administered by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).
Sugey's passion lies deep in serving with love and compassion while attuning to the other in the art of the work. Sugey continues to be inspired to serve a diverse population as a bilingual clinical and sport psychologist.
